Guiding The Young Generation Through Their Early Years.

We work on the basic premise that a nursery is as good as its staff and we take great pride in our commitment to our staff and in the commitment they show to your child in turn. We recognise the apparent link between well-qualified, motivated, enthusiastic staff and high quality care and education for your child. When choosing staff for our nursery, we look not just for the right qualifications and experience, but also for that extra passion for working with children.
We invest in our staff and we encourage career development through courses and training and also our personal investment of time to enable their growth.
Sneakers childcare is a vibrant learning community where families and staff work together to give the children the best possible environment for them to excel in.

Staff Benefits

- Flexible working
- Family Friendly
- Discounted Childcare (Up to 20% discount)
- Quality Training provided.
There are legal requirements relating to staff qualifications in a day nursery: 50% of the staff must hold a recognised childcare qualification equivalent to basic NVQ Level 2. Also, there must be staff trained in Paediatric first aid on site at all times. At our nursery, we aim far beyond that basic requirement to ensure that. Also, at a minimum, 90% of staff hold paediatric first aid qualifications, all staff also receive training in basic food hygiene, manual handling and health and safety.
75% of staff hold or are working towards a minimum level 3 qualification and the majority of other staff are working towards a level 2 early years qualification. We provide a range of opportunities for all staff to attend training for their own continuous professional development.
- Recommend a Friend Scheme
All our nursery staff possess a secure working knowledge in areas such as safeguarding children, we also have a Special Educational Needs Coordinator at each setting who train other staff on how to deal with any special needs and requirements. They also attend varied training sessions throughout the years designed to improve and extend their practice in working with children.
